Sprucecourt Public School will be closed on Tuesday, December 18. The Parenting Center Holiday Pot-Luck Party has been reschuduled to Thursday, December 20. Cook your favourite food, enough for 6 - 8 people, and bring it in to share with everybody else. Lunch starts at 11:30. All siblings are welcome to join us. Looking forward to seeing you

The Parenting Center will be CLOSED on Wednesday, November 28.

NOTE: The Parenting Center hours have changed for Thursday, November 29 only.  The Center will be open from 8:45 - 12:30.

Bread & Cheese Snack Day

On Tuesday, November 6 we are celebrating food from around the world with a special “bread and cheese” snack. You are welcome to bring your favorite bread & cheese and join us at 10:00 to share snack.  However, you do not have to bring anything to participate. I look forward to seeing everybody!

Costume Party

On Wednesday, October 31 we will be having a Costume Party at the Parenting Center.  Everybody (including adults) is encouraged to dress up!  If you wish, you are welcome to bring a special spooky snack.  Snack time starts at 10:00.  We will be having a spooky Music & Story Time too. Music & Story Time starts at 11:00. Looking forward to seeing everybody.

Field Trip to The Children's Book Bank

On Wednesday, October 24 we will be taking a walking field trip to The Children's Book Bank.  The Children's Book Bank is located at 350 Berkeley Street. We will be meeting at the Parenting Center and walking  over to The Children's Book Bank at 10:30.  Once there, there will be stories, songs and the opportunity for children to take home a book for free. We will be returning to the Parenting Center by 11:45.

Please note that the Parenting Center will be closed while we are at The Children's Book Bank.

Fall Pot-Luck Party

On Tuesday, October 16 we will be having our first Pot-Luck Party.  Cook your favorite food, enough to feed 6 - 8 people, and bring it in to share with everybody else.  Lunch starts at 11:30.  All siblings are welcome to join us.

Thursday, October 11 is Picture Day!

If you wish to have a school picture of your child (or even one of you with your child) you are welcome to join us on Thursday, October 11 for Picture Day in the Parenting Center.  At 10:00am we will fill out our name cards.  At 10:20 we will move with the children to the gym where our pictures will be taken.  Several days after the pictures are taken a package of proofs will arrive at the Parenting Center.  I will hand out the proofs and then you will then decide if you wish to order photos.  Further information will follow at that time. 

We are open!

The Parenting Center is now open!  There are still a few boxes out and about but regular programming has begun.  I look forward to seeing everybody again.
